I have been in a bit of funk - processing some grief and life transition stuff. There is much ahead - wanted you all to know that I am around and will post again soon.
I highly recommend you take a look at a book called A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle. It helped me as I have been going through a difficult time also. I wrote about in my blog but you will find you know if it's for you if you go to a bookstore or Costco and look through it a bit. It's about living in the now and how we manage that. It's not easy but it's the only thing we really have-- any of us.
I know what you mean about times of being in a funk. Read some interesting thoughts that made me question the benefits of some of the prevailing grief processing philosphy approaches for me. Am wondering if pressing to recall memories in the service of "processing" is always necessary or even wise.
I meant to add, that I'm sure coping with loss may be different for each of us. I do hope you're doing well as have thought of you. Hope you'll be back and feel like posting again soon -- but, however long it takes.
Okay sweetie....we all need to take some "funk time" once in a while....we'll be here....
