Spring in Seattle

The entire rim of the Pike Place Market roof was ringed with daffodils. The first spring peas were in the market - we lightly steamed them to accompany an herb rubbed boneless lamb roast.

Spring in Seattle - tiny white flowers on the shrub outside the back door - so nice to be with my friend.

  1. I like Seattle. Actually the whole Northwest. The Puget Sound area though is especially beautiful with the water, islands and tall trees.

  2. so glad you were here when the sun was out a bit! we are becoming more beautiful with the arrival of each spring-like day! you must come back in late april so you can drive up to skagit valley to see the beautiful tulips blooming!

  3. Just dropping by to wishing you a Happy Easter!

  4. Mmmm, I love those of my favorite veggies in the world. So glad you got to spend time with your friend Suzann. Just when I thought Spring was finally coming our way.....I hear we will probably have more snow this Thursday....I'm so bummed.

  5. What a lovely sight, all the daffodils on the roof.
    And Spring peas, heavenly delicious.
We steam them and have them as a starter, topped we real butter that melts from the heat of the peas.

  6. A Very Happy Easter, dear Suzann.....

It looks like it was quite lovely there in Seattle...! Those peas look scrumptious!
